That would give me time to get through our son’s wedding, scheduled for June 1 st, and get moved in to our new summer home. I signed up for the May meeting at Neptune Beach, but perhaps we can meet out there in June. The only conflict with holidays appears to be May 27, Memorial Day. Please reply to this email and let us all know how you feel about switching the day to Monday. We would like to change the monthly meeting date to Monday nights. The list below contains 66 books, so if they are all there, the club has been together for around 8 years. You can reply to this email and fill in any information you have or bring it to a future meeting. 2010, so I was able to fill in some of the books and dates from that info. Kathy gave me a list and I started taking minutes in Oct. Please look over the list below and look in your various notes and fill in any dates in front of the books on the list. There was discussion about how long the book club has been together and it was decided we would try to look back in each of our notes/journals/minutes to see what books we read on what month.

Members also recommended “ Samsara” playing at the Pickford, “ Old Goats,” at the Limelight (the old Pickford), and the movie “ Dark Shadows” with Johnny Dep. Linda – Molokai, by Alan Brennert (A historical novel recommended by another book club) Check it out and we will discuss this at the gathering in November.

The kit for this book is currently available in March and April. Kathy – Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter, by Tom Franklin is available at the Bellingham Public Library as a Book Club Kit. Linda – Wives of Henry Oades, by Johanna Moran (Book chosen at this meeting for January) MassieĪnn – Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern (Book chosen at this meeting for November/December) There were quite a few book recommendations by members. Most members did not care for the ending, and the general consensus was that the husband and wife deserved each other. It appeared Sandie was the only one at the meeting who enjoyed the entire book. There was a brief discussion of the book for October, “ Gone Girl”, by Gillian Flynn. Jan, Linda, Kathy, Ann, Sandie and Pat were the only members present. The meeting was held at Pat’s home, who served a hearty salad and squash soup.
